Team Plasma's infamous logo.

Team Plasma as it exists on Prism Island is a shadow of the original group; Officially named 'The 4th Legion', they are the remains of Plasma's 'liberation' arm. They consider themselves still loyal to King N, and seek to follow his last command that the team make up for their wrongdoings. Since many 'morphs owe their new form to Plasma's ilk, Mikhail and his group have settled on Prism to try and improve the quality of life for the morphs who reside there.

As previously stated, their primary goals are to boost quality of life on the island for all 'morphs through public works and other charity projects- In addition to the team's original purpose of pursuing equality for human, Pokemon, and Pokemorph alike of course! The team is also willing to provide employment and housing for anyone in need, regardless of past team affiliations or criminal records. Positions with the team range from working in the kitchens and hospital to repairing the team's jeeps to serving on one of the team's two ships.

Although Mikhail fervently denies it, and the total transparency his organization has with the PIA would suggest otherwise, rumors persist that Plasma is secretly hunting down and eliminating criminals guilty of violent crimes against the weak or elderly.

Joining Team Plasma

Team Plasma is open to characters of any species- Notably, even Pokemon are treated as full members with the same rights as any of their human or morph colleagues!

Unlike other organizations on the island, joining Team Plasma is as simple as walking into their public and easily-located office building and asking for work. The 'morph or 'mon in question will then be asked a few questions by the front desk staff, and 'morphs will need to provide some form of identification at the time of application. Once the application is filled out, the 'morph or 'mon then schedules a time to meet with Plasma's Legate, who personally oversees all incoming recruits. Plasma prides themselves on providing a service to the public, and providing employment is part of this. Few if any are rejected, and criminal records are not a concern to the team as long as the person in question is willing to start a new and honest life. Assuming the interview goes well, the 'morph or 'mon is accepted with the rank of Volunteer.

While those who simply wish to help Plasma in their spare time often stay at this rank, those who wish to become involved with Plasma as a permanent career may attend basic training in Unova and move up to the Legionary rank. Legionaries are sorted into smaller groups called 'Spears', each of which is led by a Centurion who helps plan Plasma's various missions and operations.

Life in Team Plasma

Leaving Team Plasma

Leaving Team Plasma is much the same as any other job for those ranked Decanus or below: You simply hand in your two weeks' notice and a resignation, go through a short debriefing and nondisclosure agreement, and then continue on with your life. Plasma does not, and will not, hold anything against those who choose to part ways with the team. However! Those ranked Centurion and above cannot just up and leave, as this would create issues with the team's organizational structure. Centurions who wish to resign must remain at their post after handing in their resignation letter long enough for a replacement to be found and confirmed from among the ranks. Failure to do so may result in legal action as this is a breach of contract.

Team Plasma Headquarters

Team Plasma's headquarters is a large tower with a circular base, publically known to be located on a road just off of main street. This tower has 7 above ground levels and at least two below, with a small garage at the back to service their vehicles and incoming supply shipments. The first level is open to the public at all times and contains a kitchen with free meals, a public-use computer lounge, and a small library all off of the main lobby. Levels one through four are the barracks where members ranked Legionary and above can live for no cost. Each level contains a common sleeping area, showers, an entertainment room, and a small gym. These floors all require a card key to access, and any member below Centurion can only access the barracks level for their own 'Spear'. The fifth and sixth levels are Plasma's medical facilities. While not able to hold as many patients as facilities at the island's own hospital, they are sufficient enough for Plasma's doctors to handle any wounds the team might encounter... As well as provide free service to locals that quite often uses more advanced medical technology and knowledge not available to the island's native doctors. The seventh level, as well as all below ground levels, are off-limits to the public. These levels all require card keys to access- However, members of the PIA are given free license to inspect these levels at their own leisure.

Aside from their Prism Headquarters building Plasma also owns a small base in Castelia City for training purposes. They additionally own and operate two 210-meter 'Reliance-class' cutter ships, originally purchased from the Unovan Navy upon decommission: HMNS-19 Unity and HMNS-21 Valor. Originally painted black and used for stealth operations, they are currently unarmed and used exclusively to transport small cargo and aid supplies to Prism Island.

Faction Ranks

The largest and most common rank is Volunteer- 'morphs who wish to help occasionally with the team's public social programs or relief efforts hold this rank permanently, with only those who wish to become more deeply involved with Plasma advancing to the first 'true' rank of Legionary.

As the former 'liberation' arm of Team Plasma, the Prism Island branch follows a military hierarchy to allow for ease of deployment and to simplify discipline within the team. They have chosen to use many of the ranks used in the Roman Legions of old, as a reference to their official name: The 4th Legion. All members of Plasma ranked Legionary and above are organized into one of four 'Spears', each of which is led by a Centurion and a Decanus. Each Spear has a barracks of it's own where members can receive free room and board in addition to their pay. Members are not required to live in the barracks, but it is strongly encouraged for those who have been recently promoted.

King
Team Plasma are the subjects of a central monarch, N. Although he has gone into solitude following the events in Unova that led to Plasma's decline, his will and final commands still guide everything the team does- And all those who still call themselves Plasma eagerly await his return.
Sage
The seven nobles who assisted King N in managing the team, and provided leadership in his absence. The whereabouts of only one of the seven, Sage Rood, is known. Immediately subordinate to the King and immediately superior to the Legate, he acts as the general figurehead for all remaining branches of Plasma.
Legate

Centurion Senior
An honorary rank afforded to Centurions whose dedication to the team has been exceptionally noteworthy. Although still considered on the same 'level' as normal Centurions, their words carry much weight in matters regarding team affairs. Immediately subordinate to the Legate and superior to the Legionary ranks. Centurion Seniors receive base pay x12 and are allowed residence in private officer's quarters or civilian housing.
Centurion
Centurions are the brightest and best of Plasma, and are responsible for leading groups of lower ranked members known as 'Spears'. They serve as the Legate's field officers, planning and leading missions for their 'Spear.' Only four members can hold this rank at any one time, and a 'morph can only attain this rank by the Legate's personal request. Immediately subordinate to the Legate and superior to the Legionary ranks. Centurions receive base pay x10 and are allowed residence in private officer's quarters or civilian housing.
Optio
An Optio is a specialized Legionary rank. They serve as a personal assistant and planner for a given Centurion, as well as general office staff. A 'morph can be promoted to Optio only at the personal request of a Centurion, and must display exceptional skills in areas related to organization and office management. The Optio is directly subordinate only to their specified Centurion, and are superior to none. The Optio receives base pay x2.5 and is allowed residence in private officer's quarters or civilian housing.
Decanus
A Decanus is a Legionary who has shown some degree of initiative and rudimentary skills in team management. They assist the Centurion immediately above them, and are the de facto second-in-command of their 'Spear.' A 'morph can only be promoted to Decanus if they have at least 4 months of service and the approval of two Centurions. The Decanus is directly subordinate to their specified Centurion, and superior to the Immunes and Duplicarius. A Decanus receives base pay x2.5 and is allowed to reside in the barracks for their spear or civilian housing.
Immunes
An Immunes, like a Duplicarius, is a specialized Legionary who has expertise in a particular field or area of study- Such as combat, science, engineering, etc. To be promoted to Immunes, a 'morph must first petition a Centurion and pass a test of skill within their specialty. The Immunes is a Legionary rank and directly subordinate to the Decanus and Centurion. Immunes receive base pay x2 and are allowed to reside in the barracks for their spear or civilian housing.
Duplicarius
The Duplicarius is a specialized Legionary rank. A largely honorary title bestowed on those Legionaries who consistently perform above expectations. Although the rank does not come with additional responsibility or privilege, their words are highly respected by Decanus and Centurions. To become a Duplicarius, a 'morph must have been with the team for at least a month. The Duplicarius receives base pay x1.5 and is allowed to reside in the barracks for their spear or civilian housing.
Legionary
The Legionary is the basic rank of membership in Team Plasma. To become a Legionary, a Volunteer must attend basic training and swear fealty to the ideals of N and Plasma. 'morphs typically remain in this rank only until they are promoted to Immunes. They are directly subordinate to the Decanus. The Legionary receives base pay and is the lowest rank allowed to live in the barracks.
Volunteer
A Volunteer is a civilian who has agreed to lend their skills or time to assist the team's charity work in a limited capacity. All 'morphs in Plasma start at this rank. Those who wish to join the team in a more permanent capacity remain at this rank only until they have completed basic training and are promoted to Legionary. The Volunteer receives base pay x0.5 and is not given free housing.
