| HISTORY: Once the Pokémon companion of a Rocket scientist, Marcus died under extremely unusual, gruesome and suspicious conditions within the base several years ago. He reappeared as a Misdreavus shortly afterward and underwent the Change immediately to easier facilitate an interrogation regarding the circumstances of his death and some highly classified information that it is believed only he possesses at this point; as further documentation on the topic was found to be destroyed, whether accidentally or on purpose. Despite Marcus's claims to the contrary, he was psychically discovered to indeed hold the information required, though repeated attempts to extract it were a failure.
After a round of tests in the labs meant to force him to speak the truth or alternatively torture it out of him, Marcus escaped from under heavy guard under odd circumstances. However, this and the circumstances of his death are thought to be unrelated issues. He was discovered and recaptured (having changed his name to Marcellus on the surface) by Lieutenant Bonnie at the beginning of March of 2036, but escaped in late October of the same year, his guard found dead and his method of getting out of the base unknown. It is likely that there is more to this, as all opinions of the prisoner seem firmly convinced that he would be incapable of either act.
